Learn it in a second
Select a part of the track with only noise on the timeline and press Learn. DeNoiser reads it straight from the recording, with no need to play.
-
Two faders
Threshold sets how much counts as noise, Reduction how far it goes down. Then listen to the difference to hear exactly what is removed.
-
Keeps the sound
Attacks and consonants stay sharp, the noise goes down without a watery warble, and the stereo image stays where it was.
What makes it different
DeNoiser is built into the studio, so it can learn the noise straight from your timeline: select the hiss before the singer comes in and press Learn. When the noise changes, Adaptive follows it by itself. A live spectrum shows the noise, the threshold and the result, and your presets can carry the learned noise, so the same microphone in the same room is ready next time.

Questions
- What kind of noise does it remove?
- Steady noise: tape and amp hiss, room tone, air conditioning, fans. Clicks, crackle and sudden noises are a different kind of problem.
- Do I need a silent part to learn from?
- It helps: select it on the timeline and press Learn. With no quiet part, use Adaptive and DeNoiser follows the noise by itself.
- Can I use it while recording?
- It adds a short delay, from about 20 ms at Low resolution. It is made for cleaning up recordings.
- Where can I learn every control?
- The user manual has a full page on DeNoiser.
