5.12 Loop playback
When playback reaches the end of the loop, it wraps back to the loop start. Two things to know about notes at the wrap:
- Held keys at the wrap. When the loop wraps, every note the song is holding on a track is released so it does not hang, and the notes that should sound at the loop start are struck again. The release goes to the instrument by key, so a key you are holding live on that track at the same pitch is released at the wrap too: play it again after the wrap.
- Note chase off. With note chase switched off, a note that spans the whole loop is cut at the wrap and is not struck again at the loop start (only the chase re-strikes notes). Note chase is on by default.
