1 Getting started

From the download to your first song in a few minutes.

• 1.1 Welcome What Harmonic Pro Studio is, and how this manual is organised.
• 1.2 Install and activate Download Harmonic Pro Studio for Windows or macOS, install it, and activate with a free account.
• 1.3 Set up your audio Choose your audio device and a buffer size that suits what you’re doing.
• 1.4 Write your first song Set a key and tempo, type some chords, and let the band play them.
• 1.5 Record and mix Record over the band, then add effects that know your key.
• 1.6 Bring your own plugins Load the VST2 and VST3 plugins you already own. On Windows, older 32-bit ones too.
• 1.7 Editions and the 60 days What happens after the first 60 days, and how the editions differ.
