1.2.1 Before you start

Windows

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
• An audio device with an ASIO or WASAPI driver

macOS

• macOS 12 Monterey or later, on an Apple silicon or Intel Mac
• Built-in audio or any Core Audio device

Both

• An internet connection once, to activate

1.2.2 Install on Windows

1. Download the Windows installer from the Download page.
2. Run it and follow the steps.
3. The installer is signed with our company’s name. If Windows shows a blue Windows protected your PC message, check the publisher first. See Troubleshooting.

1.2.3 Install on a Mac

1. Download the macOS disk image from the Download page.
2. Open it and drag Harmonic Pro Studio into Applications.
3. Open it from Applications. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens normally.
4. The first time you record, macOS asks whether Harmonic Pro Studio may use the microphone. Choose Allow, or it can’t hear your inputs.

1.2.4 Activate

1. Open Harmonic Pro Studio.
2. Sign in, or create a free account.
3. That’s it. Activation needs the internet this one time.
